This is probably a stupid question….

Ok, I have increased my water to about 48 oz everyday. Before I started I was not drinking water at all. Can anyone tell me if I add crystal light does that still count as water intake?  I also know that crystal light doesn’t have carbs or surgar but it does have some calories. I know its probably a dumb question… Anyway everyone have a great Monday! Hugs!

I wish I could answer that question the way you need it answered….To be honest- I wouldn’t worry about the calories..the point is, you are getting water…more than you were before regardless of what is in it. Good Job!!!

FYI - Adding Crystal Lite to your water still counts as water (I was told just as long as you use the powder kind, not the bottled kind). By the way, the peach tea flavor is EXCELLENT!

I drink the crystal light pink lemonade all the time and it counts as some of my water and it has no calories. I agree with Pat buy the powdered kind not the ready made drink!!!

I would say it still counts as water and the calories are really low. But, if you wanted to be on the safe side, drink half the day with just water and half the day with Crystal Light.

I love Crystal Light and there are MANY days where if it weren’t for CL I wouldn’t have drank any water at all! I don’t care much for the lemonade (not a big fan of any kind of lemonade), but the other flavors I’ve tried have all been delish. My kids now drink that INSTEAD of Koolaid and they don’t mind at all.

Good luck with getting all your water down. :-)

Yes crystal lights counts as part of your water intake, not knowing that much about crystal light I would look to see if it has sodium in it! That will just make you thristier and sodium(salt) is not good for you!
